Reese

Reese got really sick. Let me back up. He went up to Orson's house June 30 and stayed there until July 13th. He took Fancy up with him so she could stay with Orson. He helped Orson with cement and framing up his new addition.
When he came home, he rested for a couple of days and then went up with the ward girls to Girls camp. He was with them Wed-Sat. He had a blast.
When he came home, he was tired and slept alot.
Then on Friday, July 25, he started to sleep. Saturday, the fever came. Sunday was bad. Monday I took him to Insta Care. They did blood work and said, yes, you are sick. Come back when you are sicker.
Tuesday I took him to Dr. Hansen. He thought it was meningitis. So, off to the ER we went.
They were waiting for us. Within the first 30 minutes, he had 2 iv's, chest exray, cat scan. Then came the spinal Tap. About an hour into this, the dr was able to say that was clear. Then Reese had to pee. He pee'ed blood. Not good. They took that out and tested it. That was the answer. He had a sevier bladder/kidney infection that had started out into his blood. Bad stuff. 2 big bags of iv antibiotics. Then we came home.
He slept for days. The fever did not break until Sunday. He was down for another full week.
Now he is back to normal. It was a bad scare.

Catch Up Time

Boy, do I need to do some writing.
First off, after much work with attorneys, my girls finally said to go ahead and move, as long as the new house is in the trust. By the time they agreed, Reese and I were totally worn out. We had completely fixed the LaVerkin home up and it is wonderful. We did continue to look for new homes, but wow, the prices were just nuts. To get this kind of home on a sub division lot in Washington county would be around 350-400 thousand dollars, and for what we wanted, it would have to be built. We want all the doorways and hallways of every opening to be 36 inches wide, so a walker or wheelchair can easily move around. That is not a "normal" option. After all of this, we agreed that the LaVerkin home is just what we need. No, we are not happy with the poor quality, the small yard and such, but the house itself is just great. If we could buy a lot, put a basement on it, and move the house and garage over to it, we would be so thrilled. But that would also cost so much money. So, we stay here and be happy.
Next, the dogs. I had Bubbles sold. She had her physical and the airline ticket to fly to Portland Or. The night before her flight, she was spotting blood, so she was cycling. We called the people and cancelled the sale and all that went with it. Then we took Bubbles over to Killer and left her there for a week.
In the end, Bubbles had 3 live puppies. It turned out that the little mahogany red male was blind. We were able to sell 1 female for $1200. We placed the blind puppy with a rescue for that. We ended up placing Bubbles and the last puppy with a rescued. There had been a rash of Facebook posts against me and the puppies, so no one, and I do mean no one, would buy a puppy or Bubbles.
We gave Fancy to Orson and Jeanette.
So, as of the last of July 2019, we are dog=less and happy.
