Reese got really sick. Let me back up. He went up to Orson's house June 30 and stayed there until July 13th. He took Fancy up with him so she could stay with Orson. He helped Orson with cement and framing up his new addition.
When he came home, he rested for a couple of days and then went up with the ward girls to Girls camp. He was with them Wed-Sat. He had a blast.
When he came home, he was tired and slept alot.
Then on Friday, July 25, he started to sleep. Saturday, the fever came. Sunday was bad. Monday I took him to Insta Care. They did blood work and said, yes, you are sick. Come back when you are sicker.
Tuesday I took him to Dr. Hansen. He thought it was meningitis. So, off to the ER we went.
They were waiting for us. Within the first 30 minutes, he had 2 iv's, chest exray, cat scan. Then came the spinal Tap. About an hour into this, the dr was able to say that was clear. Then Reese had to pee. He pee'ed blood. Not good. They took that out and tested it. That was the answer. He had a sevier bladder/kidney infection that had started out into his blood. Bad stuff. 2 big bags of iv antibiotics. Then we came home.
He slept for days. The fever did not break until Sunday. He was down for another full week.
Now he is back to normal. It was a bad scare.

Catch Up Time
Boy, do I need to do some writing.
First off, after much work with attorneys, my girls finally said to go ahead and move, as long as the new house is in the trust. By the time they agreed, Reese and I were totally worn out. We had completely fixed the LaVerkin home up and it is wonderful. We did continue to look for new homes, but wow, the prices were just nuts. To get this kind of home on a sub division lot in Washington county would be around 350-400 thousand dollars, and for what we wanted, it would have to be built. We want all the doorways and hallways of every opening to be 36 inches wide, so a walker or wheelchair can easily move around. That is not a "normal" option. After all of this, we agreed that the LaVerkin home is just what we need. No, we are not happy with the poor quality, the small yard and such, but the house itself is just great. If we could buy a lot, put a basement on it, and move the house and garage over to it, we would be so thrilled. But that would also cost so much money. So, we stay here and be happy.
Next, the dogs. I had Bubbles sold. She had her physical and the airline ticket to fly to Portland Or. The night before her flight, she was spotting blood, so she was cycling. We called the people and cancelled the sale and all that went with it. Then we took Bubbles over to Killer and left her there for a week.
In the end, Bubbles had 3 live puppies. It turned out that the little mahogany red male was blind. We were able to sell 1 female for $1200. We placed the blind puppy with a rescue for that. We ended up placing Bubbles and the last puppy with a rescued. There had been a rash of Facebook posts against me and the puppies, so no one, and I do mean no one, would buy a puppy or Bubbles.
We gave Fancy to Orson and Jeanette.
So, as of the last of July 2019, we are dog=less and happy.

Bubbles
We have decided since we are not moving to a different home, we can not keep all 3 dogs. Since Bubbles is not cycling, we are selling her. We had her sold to a couple in Portland Oregon who wanted to use her to train in AKC events. When they found out about her throat and the debarking, they backed out. So, now she is going to a different family in Oregon who just want a family dog. They are glad she is debarked. I will get her spayed this Friday and then she will ship out on the 19th. I will miss her, but that is how things go.
Hurt Heart
So, we will not be moving, selling the house, or buying a new home. The girls have threatened legal eviction if we try. So, we will stay here.
We are having 2 different men come and fix the house. We are having all the holes in the walls and ceilings fixed and painted. Then the other man is fixing all the cracks on the stucco outside. That will help, not having to look at all the holes.
Then we are hiring Brett Poulsen to come and put in a water softener and a dog washing station. Then we are done.

New Truck
Did I say that we bought a new car back in Sept of 2018? We bought a 2018 Chevy Equinox. I love, love, love it. Reese is getting use to it. It is silver, grey, with a light gloss.
Well, since the girls turned down our offer to buy them out of the house, Reese bought a new truck. It is a 2018 Nissan Titan truck. It is a small, medium size truck, a step down from the quarter ton Ford truck. He wanted to size down, and the truck had 118,000 miles.
It was a nice trade in. The Nissan was a trade in used truck. It came from a rental agency that had it for 10 months. It has 10,000 miles on it and a full 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty. It is silver, grey. It is not as electronic as the Equinox, but for Reese to run around town and to the temple and back, it is great. It will still hold a good load of fertilizer for the gardens.

Muddy Days
What happens when you have 3 dogs and a lot of rain, and a once halfway grassed yard? MUD, that's what. This is what I got to clean up.
Bubbles and Havoc in the tub. Fancy is too tired to play.
Cancer is....
Cancer is cancer is cancer is cancer. Okay, but at least this cancer is not life threatening, right? We officially found my first of I am sure many more, skin cancers. It is on my left upper arm, where the sun hits when you are driving. Just out of my sight.
I went to my dr to have what I thought was a mole cut off. It had been there for years, but it was hurting me now. He sliced the top off and told me that he couldn't go digging to clean it up because the insurance company's required that a biopsy be done first. If there is no cancer, then the hole will heal up. If it comes back with cancer, then he will have to cut into the arm and dig out the cancer cells.
I got on line and looked at my report and it came back as CSC, I think. It is the most common cancer of all skin cancers. Just cut it out and it will most likely not grow back.
So, now, I have to get another appointment and go back in and have my arm put to sleep and then have the dr. cut it out and stitch me close. Why couldn't he just have done that the first time.
Other then that, life is rolling along. :)
